Bio

Bubble Made Imagination formed in 2001 as an offshoot to Athens, OH band, Loesha the Swan Goddess. Starting with borrowed drums and a four track, Andy Dunfee began to write and record and ultimately made 4-5 album’s worth of raw, lo-fi rock songs by 2006, when a career change and move out west mostly put recording on hold.

In 2016, he was back in Ohio, and after joining forces with local folk/punk band, Them Labs, the creative juices flowed and Bubble Made Imagination was resurrected.

In 2019, a new home studio was built where Andy recorded and mixed My Devil, a ten-song LP 70% about death, 20% about bears, and 10% about cereal.

Immediately following My Devil (before even released), Andy filled a blue notebook with lyrics and simple chord progressions, aiming to produce a smaller batch of songs that were a little bit punk. The result is Please Go Away, a seven-track, concept EP filled with quirky, indie/punk rock tunes about insecurity, delusion, and loneliness.

In 2020, Andy is working one song at a time, starting with "I Keep the Beat", which will be followed by "On Ohio" sometime in April.
